Hoi An | Fundort

[Epa-album id9,ŵ149 "show _ title =" false "display =" excerpt "]

Random find of approx. A thousand 6 x 6 negatives on a pile of rubbish in Hoi-An (Central Vietnam) during my half-year trip to Asia. Pictured are portraits of the people of Hoi-An and the wider area. The photos were needed for passports in the French colonial period in the 50s. It was mandatory for every resident to have a passport made. For most, it was the first confrontation with a camera. These photos are a template for the implementation in painting; The project is in constant progress.
