Steinbock Zillertaler Alpen © Irene Müller 2019

In 2015, Irene Müller launched the project „SUPERWILDVISION Alps.“  First, „SUPERWILDVISION Alps“ was about marmots. Irene Müller created a painting, mainly in shades of blue and yellow. Colours that recognize marmots with their dichromatic color perception.

The team of the Plauener Hütte installed two prints of the original painting and wildlife cameras in two places in the Zillertal Alps at about 2400 m above sea level. Inspired by the videos from the year.

In 2015, the painting of Capricorn was also created.

In 2017, the painting of Capricorn (a print) and a wildlife camera were placed in a remote spot in the Zillertal Alps. In this way, the project will continue on an ongoing basis.
In 2018, two paintings will be placed in two locations and observed by a wildlife camera.

A video installation SUPERWILDVISION Alps will be on display in the high-altitude Plauener Hut over the summer of 2018. Footage of the past few years is shown. The hut can only be reached by hiking trail.
